My name is Michael Gibson. I have been married to my beautiful wife since 1999. We have two
wonderful children. Our daughter Blake is 24 and our son Sellers is 19. I have spent my entire
professional career in the business world and I have been a full time Pastor of our wonderful
country church for over 17 years. My wife is a nurse, our daughter is a teacher and softball
coach, and our son is my partner here at Kingdom Cuts.
My career has taken up a great deal of my time and in the past 5 years it has taken me away
from my family and church family Monday – Thursday each week. As of the end of March 2025,
we were forced to make major changes in our business, but I trust that God used that to bring
me home. I had been praying for some time that I could do more to serve God and our
community. When I began travelling for work in 2019, I had to leave my son during some very
important years. Along with wanting to be a better servant, I had prayed that I could do
something where my son and I could spend more time together. He is very talented and is a
member of our praise team at church. He has a love for music and technology. He handles all of
the media and social platforms for Kingdom Cuts. Within a week of being home, I came across a
video on YouTube for SB mowing. This young man named Spencer changed the life of an elderly
lady named Beth. The crazy thing is I had been contemplating helping my son start a lawn care
business and could not get it off my mind. Just before I saw the video of SB mowing taking care
of Beth’s overgrown yard, a member of our church put out a group message seeking help with
her overgrown yard. It was at that point, I felt strongly that God could use my son and I to serve
others in the same way that Spencer does in his area. That church member was our first
assignment. We cleaned up her yard on April 9 th , 2025 absolutely free of charge and Kingdom
Cuts “Serving God, by serving others” was born.
We appreciate all those that support and follow our journey. We can’t wait to see the people
God helps through this ministry.
